Maui Taylor’s Scandals

Scandal has followed Maui Taylor for most of her adult career. The English-born Filipino actress first debuted on the youth-targeted television series Thank God It’s Sabado, from which Maui earned a reputation as a wholesome child star.

She then prusued a singing career with the all-girl entertainment group, The Viva Hot Babes. Maui began a scandal when she publicly trashed her fellow group-members on a live radio interview. She showed particular contempt for Hot Babe Jen Rosenthal, whom she said she dispised. There was also a minor scandal resulting from Maui Taylor’s work on the feature film Tororot. Maui claimed that Baron Geisler, her co-star, had bitten her during the filming of a sex scene.

Taylor also admitted in a radio interview that she had filmed herself having sex with her former boyfriend, Bryan Revilla. Maui said she wasn’t worried about a scandal resulting from the tapes being made public. Maui Taylor was always noted for her youthful looks, convincingly portraying a 16-year old girl in the film An Hunling Birhen Sa Lupa (Maui was in her 20s at the time). Scandal then struck again when she admitted to having plastic surgery, and lying in order to preserve her image. Maui Taylor says she will halt her career (and scandals) at least temporarily while she moves to England.
