Chances are good you’re here because you were looking for MauiTaylor.com, which would obviously be focused on the famous and beautiful actress. Well, you’ve gotten her name right, and the .com looks good - but there’s just one problem.

What, you ask? Simple: there IS no MauiTaylor.com. That’s the big problem with the internet - you can never tell what extension is going to be added on the end of a name. .com, .org, .net, .edu, .gov… there’s just too many.

The MTRCB has given her new film, Torotot, an R-18 rating despite director Maryo J. de los Reyes’ best attempts to wriggle his movie into a slimmer R-13 rating. He wanted children to be exposed to the possibilities presented by the movie and learn from them, but apparently what was shown was just too much for most kids.

Torotot is reportedly a film about marital infidelity that leads to a tragic crime of passion. And apparently that passion was too much for the MTRCB board members. One in particular said that her decision would not change unless an edited version of the film was released with the rawer elements stripped out.

Whether or not that will actually happen is a matter of speculation.

Gamitan opens on a young and impressionable freshman named Cathy (Taylor) who has a thing for one of her seniors, Nick, who’s also a star on the campus basketball team. She pines for his affections, and one day his attentions are indeed directed towards her: he asks her out to dinner, drives her home afterwards and then has sex with her.

It’s only afterwards that Cathy realizes she gave her virginity over to a man who’d made a bet with his friends. Nick dumps he almost immediately, crushing her heart. Looking to get revenge on him she seduces one of her classmates, Louie, who had previously had a crush on her. He agrees to help her in her revenge in exchange for sex.

From there the trail of revenge only gets worse and worse until the story reaches a tragic climax. For whom? Watch and see.

Scandal has followed Maui Taylor for most of her adult career. The English-born Filipino actress first debuted on the youth-targeted television series Thank God It’s Sabado, from which Maui earned a reputation as a wholesome child star.

She then prusued a singing career with the all-girl entertainment group, The Viva Hot Babes. Maui began a scandal when she publicly trashed her fellow group-members on a live radio interview. She showed particular contempt for Hot Babe Jen Rosenthal, whom she said she dispised. There was also a minor scandal resulting from Maui Taylor’s work on the feature film Tororot. Maui claimed that Baron Geisler, her co-star, had bitten her during the filming of a sex scene.

Taylor also admitted in a radio interview that she had filmed herself having sex with her former boyfriend, Bryan Revilla. Maui said she wasn’t worried about a scandal resulting from the tapes being made public. Maui Taylor was always noted for her youthful looks, convincingly portraying a 16-year old girl in the film An Hunling Birhen Sa Lupa (Maui was in her 20s at the time). Scandal then struck again when she admitted to having plastic surgery, and lying in order to preserve her image. Maui Taylor says she will halt her career (and scandals) at least temporarily while she moves to England.

Maui Taylor (born 28, 1983) was raised in Brighton, Sussex, England. A model, singer, and actress Maui first appeared on TGIS (Thank God It’s Sabado), a Fillipino television series that centered on the lives of four school-aged girls.

TGIS recieved many awards for Best Youth-Oriented Show during its four-year run, and put Maui Taylor on the radar as a rising child star. Maui then turned to a modeling career, appearing on the cover of For Him Magazine. She later turned to bold acting roles. Taylor’s first feature was Gamitan. The feature saw a bold turn for Maui, who played a young student who is taken advantage of by a star athlete.

Gamitan steered Maui’s career towards a string of movies, Hibla and Sex Drive among them, in which Maui was bold enough to perform several sex scenes. She had previously refused to show full-frontal nudity in Gatiman, but did appear fully disrobed in later pictures. Maui has also released a compilation of her music videos under the bold title, Sex Godess. Since going bold, Maui Taylor has become quite a box office attraction, and is set to star in an upcoming sex comedy, Short Time.
